Confused as to what to do with your car? How to get to the start line or return?

Red Bus has made it as easy as possible for you!

Park your car in the designated car parking at Ferrymead Park before the event and catch the special Red Bus to either start location. Buses will travel from Ferrymead Park to Centennial Park, departing at 8am and 8:15am and to Opawa School at 9am.

Alternatively, if parking near your starting point after completing the event, catch the special Red Bus from Ferrymead Park back to your starting location. Buses will be departing between 10am and 2pm, so if you have to race away or wish to relax, enjoy the entertainment and prize giving there is a bus to suit you.

Buses have been chartered especially for The Star City to Surf participants, and cost $2.50 per child (up to the age of 17) and $5 per adult.
